Prescription Drug Abuse Treatment Centers

In this country, there are numerous prescription drug abuse treatment centers, a sad indicator of the general, physical health of this nation.  More sad than that however, is the fact that these clinics are a booming business, making hand over fist from those that suffer from some sort of prescription drug addiction -- capitalism once again rears its ugly head.  These addiction treatment facilities, usually highlighted in the news by some starlet who has finally reached the tipping point in her addiction, whatever her poison may be.  These are undoubtedly expensive, lasting for weeks, sometimes months on end, drawing copious amounts of money from those that can afford their care.  But are we sure that they are completely necessary?  Although most of these treatments tend to be inpatient, few realize that residential drug treatment is not just an option, but a viable option, and in many cases, the better option.  There are so many that think of drug and alcohol rehab as akin to Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane:  cold, white, sterile walls imprisoning patients like inmates, with burly, white-uniformed wards that look like they needed to do a dime a piece in Leavenworth Penitentiary just to be hired.  This simply does not have to be the case.

There are other options, options that have proven to be more effective than what is commercially advertised.  The plain truth is prescription drug rehabilitation and the treatment for the abuse of prescription drugs has for the most part, remained unchanged in the United States.  Statistically, 70% of Americans are ingesting at least 1 prescription, daily.  That is about 100 million people in this country alone.  What is really shocking is that this figure is more than cancer, more than diabetes, and more than heart disease; it’s actually more than all three of these killers combined.  If this is such a serious issue, then why hasn’t it been given the gravity that it deserves? What is important is the prescription addiction treatment center.

It isn’t treated seriously because the signs are not as obvious superficially, it may affect the quality of life, but the signs are rarely physically visible to the cursory eye.  You can imagine that drug and alcohol addiction treatment rehab centers aren't happy; whether the drug and alcohol addiction rehab treatment Los Angeles or anywhere else, they are losing money and they are not happy about it. It’s not terminal, you won’t die tomorrow from it.  What most people don’t understand, however, is that the degradation of the quality of life for those that suffer can in many ways be worse: it’s a living hell of constant torment.  You know you’re hurting those around you, you know you are disappointing your kids, your husband or wife, mother or father, and no matter what you do, there just doesn’t seem to be anything you can do to get out of this rut.  It’s a maze without an exit, and there just seems to be no solution.  For those that understand how deep the dark pit can be, there is hope.  GS Medical is one of the few prescription drug treatment facilities that understands this, and has put together a program, the NESP Program, that will help you get out of this living nightmare.  Based on extensive chemical and clinical research spanning over a decade, they now know how to help those that suffer to get better.  It’s as simple as that.
